In Knothole Glade there's a one time mention of a better bard. This seemingly offhand statement has lead to a flurry of activity on a bunch of other Fable related boards.

In particular, on the Xbox forums, there's a post by someone calling himself The Better Bard. Based on his post history, it's pretty obvious that he's a member of staff related to the game. So far, he's posted a fairly lengthy poem, which has some interesting implications.
