Re: Dungeons & dragon heros

I liked the game a lot, for the record. It wasn't as fun as Baldur's Gate I was, but it has a lot of great moments. The graphics are far superior, many of the monsters are HUGE. The character development is as good as it is in most of these hack and slash RPGs (for the record, I haven't played Champions of Norrath).

I think it's great to play with other people, but then you can't play with the camera zoomed in real far as you can when you are solo. Kind of miss some of the great animation and lighting then. My only real complaint is that it does get a little old (I think all of these games wear on me though) and the came lacks a fun center to hang out in... I think I was expecting more there. But there's really only a tavern you go into once or twice and get missions, and a couple of shopkeepers. The castle (main anchor point) has been overrun and mostly deserted. That kind of dampens the fun of the RPG like interactions with other characters for me.

It's worth whatever they are asking for it now (which isn't much). It's a fun game to build a character in.
