It's all about the usage. You're on a shared connection with your neighbors, possibly your whole block, or more. In the evening is when the most people are online (home from work) and so usage is up, and speeds are down. At 2:30am, no one's online, so you fly. If you still experience the problem, it likely won't be resolved by them. They say things like "up to 15mbps" but not guaranteed. The only real solution would be to buy a dedicated line that's not shared with your neighbors. Expect something like that to cost well over what normal connections cost, think up to 10x it. |
