Re: A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.

I do it all the time, I find a game I really like and then play it non-stop until its dead or I pass out with a controller in my hand/head on the desk. Add to that sleeping 14 hours every other day is my sleep cycle of choice and it's not hard to imagine.

Sometimes I go crazy and work for 32 hours at a stretch, too. I'm best in short concentrated bursts. I'm thinking about giving up mmogs since I can't actually "finish" them ever and they turn into repeated time sinks, which means that I'm not working, which means that my degree is not progressing, which means that I'm a perpetual student.

Still, the simulated economy in World of Warcraft is more enthralling than an economics course devoted to ~flation of currencies, or Canadian Government redux.
